On January 09, 2025, interviews were conducted during the meetings of the Panels of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, and the results of the qualification evaluation of three local court judges for suitability for their positions were determined.
The information on the results of the cognitive abilities test, taken on January 08, 2025 within the framework of the competition for vacant positions of judges in the general courts of appeal (civil specialisation) announced by the Commission’s decision № 94/zp-23 of September 14, 2023 (as amended) is available
On January 08, 2025, the First Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered the issue of submitting a motion recommending the secondment of judges to another court of the same level and specialisation for the administration of justice.
According to part one of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, by the decision of the High Council of Justice adopted on the basis of a proposal from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, a judge may, with his/her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialization to administer justice.
On November 19, 2024, the Panels of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine held interviews at the meeting and determined the results of the qualification evaluation of eight local court judges for their suitability for the position.
Based on the results of the qualification evaluation for suitability for the position held, the Commission made the following decisions:
On November 18, 2024, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine in plenary meeting considered the issue of suitability of judges of local and appellate courts for their positions held.

On November 14, 2024, the Panels of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, at its meetings, held interviews and determined the results of the qualification evaluation of four judges of local courts for their suitability for the positions held.
The judge passed the qualification evaluation and was recognized by the Commission as suitable for the position held.
As a result of the meeting, the Commission decided to recommend judge of the Lviv Commercial Court of Appeals Iryna Malekh for transfer to the position of a judge of the Western Commercial Court of Appeal without competition.
On November 13, 2024, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine in plenary meeting considered the issue of termination of the qualification evaluation of three judges for suitability for their positions.
Based on the results of the meeting, the Commission made the following decisions:
On November 4–7, 2024, a scientific and research workshop was held in Cologne (Federal Republic of Germany) within the framework of the project “E-Justice in Focus: A Comparative Study of Germany and Ukraine”, which was attended by Commission member Ruslan Sydorovych.
