Please be informed, that on January 20, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine adopted a decision approving the coded and decoded results of the cognitive abilities testing conducted on January 10, 13, 14, and 15, 2025, by candidates applying for vacant judicial positions to the courts of appeal (criminal specialization) within the framework of the competition announced by the Commission’s Decision № 94/zp-23 of September 14, 2023 (as amended).

On January 17, 2025, the conference “Pathways to Progress: Germany-Ukraine Dialogues on the Rule of Law for EU Accession” was held in Berlin (Federal Republic of Germany). The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine was represented by the Deputy Chairman of the Commission Oleksii Omelian and the Commission Member Ruslan Sydorovych.

The Commission’s Decision № 13/zp-25 of  January 15, 2025, approved the form and content of the application for participation in the selection of a local court judge and amended the questionnaire of a candidate for the position of a judge, the form and content of which was approved by the Commission’s Decision № 121/zp-23 of  November 02, 2023.

On January 16, 2025, interviews were conducted during the meetings of the Panels of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, and the results of the qualification evaluation of six local court judges for suitability

On January 15, 2025, the plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered the issue of recommendations for appointment to the positions of judges.

The judges passed the qualification evaluation and were recognized by the Commission as suitable for the position.

Taking into account the results of the qualification evaluation, the Commission decided to recommend:

The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine serves as a key element of the country’s anti-corruption framework, imposing rigorous requirements on candidates for  the position of judge of this court. In view of these stringent standards, the exam test and practical assignments were meticulously designed.

We hereby inform you that on January 15, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine adopted a decision to approve the coded and decoded results of the practical assignment performed by participants of the competition on December 16, 2024. The decision also establishes the overall results of the first stage of the qualification evaluation “Completion of the Qualification Exam” and grants admission to the second stage, “Dossier Review and Interview” within the framework of the competition announced by Commission Decision

On January 14, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine held interviews and determined the results of the qualification evaluation of three judges of local and appellate courts for their suitability for the positions.

Based on the results of the qualification evaluation, the Commission made the following decisions:
