Competition for the Kharkiv Court of Appeal: One Candidate Has Confirmed Her Ability to Administer Justice, Whilst One Candidate Is Awaiting an Interview by the Plenary Session of the Commission

On April 07, 2026, during the session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, a panel conducted interviews and determined the results of the qualification assessment of four candidates for the positions of judges at the Kharkiv Court of Appeal.

Based on the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission took the following decisions:

The qualification assessment has been suspended pending the results of the investigation by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention. To inform the NACP of any circumstances that may indicate a breach by the judge of anti-corruption legislation

 

Please be reminded that 62 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 47 vacant positions of judges at the Kharkiv Court of Appeal.

In total, interviews were conducted with 11 candidates: 7 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, and 4 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. The qualification assessment process has been suspended for 2 candidates.
