On October 15, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of a candidate for the position of judge to administer justice in the Chernihiv Court of Appeal.
Based on the results of the qualification assessment, Andrii Chalyi was recognised as having confirmed his ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal.
It should be noted that 40 candidates applied to participate in the competition for 22 vacant positions of judges in the Chernihiv Court of Appeal.
In total, interviews were conducted with 9 candidates: 4 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal, 1 candidate did not confirm this ability, and interviews with 4 candidates will be held in the plenary session of the Commission.
