Please be informed that in order to ensure maximum transparency and objectivity in the work of the Group, 3 representatives nominated by 13 public organizations that participated in the meeting of the representatives of public organizations to appoint members of the Public Integrity Council were included in its composition.

On January 31, 2024, at its last meeting, the Working Group approved its latest report.

On February 1, 2024, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in Panels, held interviews with 22 winners of the competition for vacant positions of local court judges announced on September 14, 2023.

Based on the results of the interviews, the Commission decided to recommend for the appointment:

On January 31, 2024, a working meeting was held between the Chairman of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine Roman Ihnatov, the Deputy Chairman of the Commission Ruslan Sydorovych and the Sector Manager for Justice and Anticorruption of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Alban Biaussat, the Country Manager of EU Pravo-Justice Project Oksana Tsymbrivska.

The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine is conducting interviews with the winners of the selection for the position of local court judges.

Upon analyzing the compliance of individual candidates for the position of a judge with the requirements set forth in the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, the Commission notes that their integrity is sometimes questionable due to non-compliance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On General Military Duty and Military Service” regarding military registration.

On January 31, 2024,  the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in Panels, held interviews with 2 winners of the competition for vacant positions of local court judges announced on September 14, 2023.

Based on the results of the interviews, the Commission decided to recommend for the appointment:

On January 31, 2024, the Panel of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, at its meeting, held the interview as part of the qualification evaluation of local court judge for correspondence to the position held.

On January 30, 2024, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in Panels, held interviews with 18 winners of the competition for vacant positions of local court judges announced on September 14, 2023.

Based on the results of the interviews, the Commission decided to recommend for the appointment:

Decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine № 25/zp-24 as of January 23, 2024 amended the terms and conditions and the announcement of the competition for vacant positions of judges in the courts of appeal announced by the Commission on September 14, 2023.

On January 29, 2024, the plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, at its meeting, considered the issue of recommendations for appointment to the positions of judges.

The judges passed the qualification evaluation and were recognized by the Commission as suitable for the position.

Taking into account the results of the qualification evaluation, the Commission decided to recommend:

On January 29, 2024, the plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered the issue of correspondence of judges of local and appellate courts to their positions held, announced by the Commission on September 14, 2023.
